Ryan Hosung Lee: Portfolio

Who am I

My name is Ryan Hosung Lee, UCLA student studying Business Economics and Political Science. I am from Seoul, South Korea, currently in Los Angeles, CA.

My interests range from government & finance to entertainment & media production. I am proficient in public speaking, project management, team leadership, and graphic design / video editing.

I always strive to learn from everything and believe that new world opens up when one steps out from one’s comfort zone.

Attached collage is my graphic design portfolio.

Documentary Portfolio #1

Led end-to-end operations for a Varsity Kit Reveal Photoshoot project while simultaneously directing a 16-minute BTS documentary capturing project’s procedure from planning to execution, managing an 7-person team across art, photography, and documentary production

Documentary Portfolio #2

Under the theme of “Family“, I created a documentary capturing the core essence of high school’s varsity program. I interviewed 3 players and Athletic Director to obtain their understanding of the value of Family within their team.

Music Video Projects

I also make fun stuff too!

I made music videos for Charli XCX’s 360 and Jack Harlow’s Hello Miss Johnson. Filming myself allowed me to try numerous different angles, experimental shots, and editing skills, in which I had much fun in learning.

til’ 3005

“I got your back we can do this hold up”

@gardenia.423 is my new family I found at UCLA.

Our first ever project, music video for Childish Gambino’s song 3005, holds the value of our eternal brotherhood and friendship.

Childish Gambino says 3005 is neither a love song nor a song about friendship. Rather, he wants 3005 to be a song about existentialism.

And although we, or at least I, love Childish Gambino and his philosophy, 3005 will always be a song about the brotherhood we shared in room 423 of Gardenia Residential Building during our first year at UCLA.
